Why Joints Are Everything
A level ceiling is the minimum. The real question is how it meets the wall, how it integrates with furniture. It's the joint details that separate "just a renovation" from an interior that looks expensive.
Solution 1: Shadow Gap
Problem: Skirting boards yellow, peel off, weigh down the interior, and collect dust.
Solution: A shadow profile creates a thin gap (6–8 mm) between ceiling and wall. The ceiling visually "floats" without a single skirting board.
Technical detail: Aluminium profile with patented geometry. The membrane tucks inside, creating a uniform shadow line around the entire perimeter.
Effect: Architectural purity. Ideal for Scandinavian, loft, and minimalist styles. From 2,500 ฿/m².
Solution 2: Floating Ceiling with LED
Problem: You want more than just removing the skirting — you want a perimeter light accent.
Solution: LED strip in a dedicated profile channel. Light falls from above onto the wall — the ceiling appears separated by a band of light.
Technical detail: Profile with LED channel. The strip is hidden; only a band of soft diffused light is visible. Control via dimmer or smart controller.
Effect: Visual height increase. Soft light replaces overhead lighting in bedrooms. From 3,000 ฿/m² + LED 1,000 ฿/l.m.
Solution 3: Gapless — Furniture Integration
Problem: The gap between wardrobe top and ceiling is a dust trap. For allergy sufferers — a constant source of irritants.
Solution: The ceiling is mounted directly to the furniture's upper edge. A "furniture-to-ceiling" design with zero gaps.
Technical detail: A backing profile along the furniture edge. The membrane tucks into this profile — creating a hermetic junction. No dust, no gap.
Effect: Wardrobes look built-in, as in high-end designer projects. Cleaning the top of the wardrobe is no longer needed.
What If You Need to Hang Something Later?
Service visit: partial membrane removal → backing plate installation → re-stretching. A couple of hours, no dust. The wall or ceiling stays perfect.
