Black Matte Ceiling
Black matte is a velvety surface free of glare. The ceiling "disappears," creating a sense of infinite height. Unlike gloss, a matte surface produces no specular (directional) reflection. The black pigment absorbs the bulk of incoming light, while the micro-textured finish provides diffuse scattering of residual rays, completely eliminating glare.

The choice depends on your objective:
- Looking for luxury and depth в†’ black glossy. It reflects light, creates volume and drama.

Rules for Working with a Black Ceiling
- Light is the primary tool. In a room with a black ceiling, lighting defines everything. Use multi-level lighting: ambient + accent + decorative.
- Consider the slab height. For rooms with low ceilings (2.5—2.6 m), use strictly black glossy — its reflectivity will visually "break through" the slab and double the height. Black matte requires a ceiling height of 2.7 m or more; otherwise the light absorption will create a claustrophobic effect.
- Contrast is essential. A black ceiling works in tandem with light-coloured walls, furniture or flooring. Without contrast, the room turns into a "cave."

Unlike cheap films, our black colour (both glossy and matte) is pigmented through the entire thickness of the polymer. - Thermodynamics and panoramic windows. Black PVC has a high thermal radiation absorption coefficient. LuxeSpan engineers do not recommend installing black membranes in areas of direct exposure to harsh sunlight (e.g. immediately next to south-facing panoramic windows without UV/IR filters). Localised overheating of the polymer may cause temporary thermal sagging.
