You replaced the windows, but the reveals in Thailand keep falling apart every year? Plaster reveals crack, plastic ones yellow, wooden ones rot. There is a solution.
Problems with window reveals in the tropics
- ❌ Plaster: cracks from temperature swings (air-con ↔ outdoor heat)
- ❌ Plastic: UV degradation, yellowing within 1—2 years
- ❌ Wooden: moisture + termites = destruction
- ❌ Drywall: same problems as on the ceiling
LuxeSpan fabric stretch reveals
- ✅ Ventilation: the micro-porous fabric structure preserves natural vapour exchange of the base wall, completely eliminating the greenhouse effect and condensate stagnation beneath the surface
- ✅ UV resistance: polyester does not yellow or dry out in direct sunlight
- ✅ Installation: from 2 hours per window unit (full track fitting and stretching) with no construction dust or wet processes
- ✅ Wind stability: Before installing the system, LuxeSpan engineers thoroughly seal all base joints of the window opening with polyurethane compounds. This completely eliminates draughts in concealed cavities and prevents a "sail effect" when windows are open on upper floors.
- ✅ Durability and design: We use high-density architectural polyester (from 240 g/m²). It withstands accidental contact and pressure during window cleaning, and perfectly matches the texture of acoustic stretch walls in the room.
- ✅ Warranty: 10 years on colour retention and tension

рџ“ђ LuxeSpan Engineering Brief
Cheap plastic panels in window zones are subjected to intense ultraviolet radiation (UV-A and UV-B). This causes photochemical polymer degradation — breaking of molecular chains. As a result, the plastic loses plasticisers, becomes brittle, and acquires a permanent yellow tint. Architectural stretch fabric (polyester) contains no volatile plasticisers susceptible to photochemical breakdown. It offers complete resistance to tropical UV (no yellowing) and, thanks to its micro-porous structure, maintains the vapour permeability of the reveal. This allows unobstructed moisture evaporation, preventing condensate build-up (greenhouse effect) and mould growth beneath the fabric.
