Fire Safety
DIN 4102-1 (Class B1, Germany): The material is classified as flame-retardant. It does not sustain active combustion. The same standard used to certify materials for German hospitals and schools.
NFPA 701 (Test Method 2, USA): The highest flame spread limitation requirements. Self-extinguishing time after removing the ignition source — 0 seconds. The material melts and self-extinguishes.
MSD Premium membranes are approved for use in high-rise condominiums and hotels in Thailand with strict fire safety audits.
Ecology & Air Quality
A+ Certification (France VOC, Eurofins): Highest air safety rating. Scale: A+, A, B, C. Our material — A+. Zero emission of volatile organic compounds.
REACH & RoHS (SGS): No heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury), phthalates, or formaldehyde. Tested against a list of 211+ hazardous substances — none detected.
CE Marking: Compliance with European Union standards — approved for sale and use in EU countries.
What About the Smell?
During installation, there may be a faint "new product" scent — similar to a new car interior. It completely dissipates within 2 hours of ventilation. For comparison: paint fumes after wall painting linger for days.
LuxeSpan is safe for children's rooms and allergy sufferers. The material is hypoallergenic and approved for medical facility finishing.
