Myth 1: "Stretch ceilings emit phenol and are toxic"

Fact: The brief odour after installation is caused by heating the membrane to +60 °C with a gas gun to ensure elasticity. As the membrane cools to room temperature, the polymer chains return to equilibrium, and the faint scent (plasticiser off-gassing) fully dissipates within 24—48 hours with standard ventilation.

Myth 7: "You can't hang a heavy chandelier from it"

Fact: The stretch membrane does not bear the weight of light fittings. The engineer secures rigid mounting platforms directly to the concrete slab. Through the membrane, you can install a crystal chandelier weighing up to 20 kg, track lighting systems, or cassette-type air conditioners.

Myth 8: "Light bulbs melt it"

Fact: The age of incandescent bulbs is over. Modern LED fixtures do not heat above 45—60 °C, and their heat sinks are designed to dissipate residual heat DOWNWARD into the air-conditioned room, preventing overheating of the ceiling void.
